BBQ Bacon & Turkey Burger Bowls

My original burger bowl recipe has been a hit! It’s super easy to throw together for meal prep or to make fresh for a quick weeknight dinner. This is a fun twist on the recipe to change things up for a different flavor! Who doesn’t love a good BBQ Bacon Burger? Give this lightened up version a try and I’d love to hear what you think! This can be fully customized as well- add more or less or anything you’d like based on portion size and preference. The nutrition info below it based on this specific recipe but the recipe is very flexible and it’s a delicious way to get all of your favorite burger flavors in a non-traditional (and healthier!) way! ⁣

👉Ingredients👈⁣

🔹1.5 lbs lean ground turkey⁣

🔹1.5 tsp garlic powder⁣

🔹3/4 tsp onion powder⁣

🔹3/4 tsp paprika ⁣

🔹3/4 tsp salt⁣

🔹1/2 tsp pepper⁣

🔹No sugar added sweet pickles (optional)⁣

🔹Sugar free/no sugar added BBQ Sauce⁣

🔹Roasted quartered mini potatoes ⁣

🔹5 pieces precooked bacon, diced⁣

🔹Sliced or cherry tomatoes (optional) ⁣

🔹5oz diced red onion⁣, sautéed⁣

🔹Shredded lettuce⁣

🔹Any other burger toppings you like⁣

👉Directions👈⁣

🔹Cook the ground turkey in a skillet with all of the above seasonings.⁣

🔹Remove the turkey and add your sliced onion to the skillet with a little salt and some broth and sauté until soft.⁣

🔹Quarter and roast a bag in mini potatoes on 400 until crispy. Add any seasonings you’d like. I added salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. I usually add 1/2-1T oil to roast them so they get a bit crispy.⁣

Assemble your bowls:⁣

🔹Add 3-4oz cooked ground turkey on one side of your prep container (I used 3.5oz). ⁣

🔹On the other side add approx 115g cooked potatoes.⁣

🔹Mix in or top the turkey with 2T bbq sauce.⁣

🔹Add one piece of chopped bacon per container on top of the turkey.⁣

🔹Sprinkle with 1/2 oz of diced red onion.⁣

🔹Add tomatoes and sweet pickles or any other toppings you’d like.⁣

🔹I also like to prep a big container of chopped romaine to add to each bowl after I microwave it. ⁣

🔹ENJOY! 🤤 ⁣

📝 Depending on portion sizes this will make about 5-6servings. ⁣
